Skinny Jeans & Boots

I had a really good day today because I got featured on ‘Style Blog of the week ‘on bestoftheweb Trez coolio wouldn’t you say?

Relaxed look today, didn’t feel like dressing up too much but have been inspired by all the winter fashion in the blogs I follow and feeling jealous it never gets cold here (except for in my office! air-con set to 18 degrees!)

For the first time I have paired my suede boots (Mango Touch) with skinny jeans (GStar). And you know what? I love it! It opens up a entire new sphere of jean-options. Am thinking of getting some tan ones…but I don’t want to look like Katie Holmes who appears to have turned into a homeless person (derelict chic?) lately and is constantly in her stained tan suede boots! Grey blazer – Zara. Grey V neck – similar at Mango. Polka dot shirt – Gap

My Feature 🙂

Granny Pash

I adore eccentric pashmina prints! The louder, the more colourful, the more ghastly at first glance…the better! This beauty was on sale reduced 70% and I have had my eye on it all season. So it finally came home to me. I especially like throwing them over a casual look to add some glam.

Pashmina – Accessorize sale. Jeans – GStar. Heels – Nine West Caress. Striped Top – Mango similar.

Plain heart stack set – here ‘A’ letter ring. Rose Quartz Vintage here – all Accessorize Nail OPI

Coco

I just finished reading Coco Chanel’s biography and am totally obsessed with her simple and chic style (and life story, did you know she was friends with Salvador Dali and Winston Churchill!?amaze balls) She was my Fashspiration for this shoot.

Wide-leg, low-rise white trousers – custom tailor (similar). Pink heels – Nine West Caress. Striped Vest – Trenery. Pearls & clutch – Accessorise – real deal here

I extended the look for a casual lunch with my husband but swapping the trousers for shorts and a green satchel bag. (Bag – Jaspal. Shorts – Zara similar) Nails OPI

Green Lace

I love 50’s style lace dresses. They are so feminine. I especially like this ‘A’ line cut and slightly looser fit. Add some banging sky-scraper heels and off you go! (and I broke from my ‘natural’ norm and added a light green eye-shadow – talk about living on the edge!)

Green dress – Zara (am thinking about cutting the lining out, it doesn’t sit right) Heels – Aldo (similar). Jacket – Jaspal (old collection) Cute rings – local Thai designer

White Dots

Yes, I love polka dots. And I especially love combining them with white. I think it looks so effortless and classy.

Peach Polka Dot Top – Jaspal (stores only in Thailand & Malaysia) White cropped pants – Gap. Heels – Charles & Keith (similar as can’t find mine listed) Denim shorts – Zara similar

Am also trying a new background for my pics to shake it up a bit, what do you think? My dress rack makes me happy.

I tried the same top with denim shorts – which I think looks super cute.

Chloe Perfume Locket

The only good thing about flying on your birthday is the duty free in-flight magazine. I fell in love with this solid perfume Chloe locket necklace. It smells and looks amazing. Adore the long chain.

And I finally get to debut my beautiful black velvet mannequin (gift from hubby). Nails – OPI.

Ballet Flats

I am always on the scout for cute ballet flats. These classic black ones were a gift and SO well-received because, for some reason, brands always add ‘stuff’ like bows, studs & buckles. And I couldn’t resist these amazing polka dot ones.

Black Pumps – Woolworths (similar), Jeans – GStar. Grey Top – Gap. Bag – TopShop. Polka Pumps – Trenery similar.
