Loafing Around

Simple outfits are the best. This outfit is 100% comfort first

Best part of this outfit are my new white leather loafers from Nine West. They are super-soft and the perfect shopping shoe

And yes, this is me, on a bicycle. Isn’t my bike gorgeous!?

Karen Millen Zipper Delight

Karen Millen makes dresses so gorgeous they literally stop your heart. That’s the reaction I had when I laid eyes on this piece of lovely

This dress is the ‘headline’ garment for her Spring collection, modelled by Yasmin La Bon’s daughter here

Unfortunately they didn’t have the same belt used in the ad (in Thailand) – this is one from another dress

Bag – Kate Spade. Heels – Nine West Caress

Yellow Spring

I fell in love with these pale yellow pumps from Nine West. My contribution to Spring.

I cannot wait to wear them with a blue and white polka dot dress….that I just saw at Karen Millen (new spring collection!!!)

Jeans – GStar. Top – Gap. Bag – Kate Spade.

Shocking Pink Frock

I just love a classic wrap dress. It is vital there is a proper lining or it can be unflattering. Jaspal Spring Collection (only in Thailand and Malaysia)

Island Style

Sorry for my lengthy delay. My excuse? Thai New Year (SongKran) and a bunch of  blissful public holidays. We went to Koh Samed, an island two hours drive and a 10 minute speed boat ride from our house in Bangkok, to a resort called ‘TubTim’ (how utterly cute?!)

I love a long shirt-style cover-up. Especially in a bright summer colour and light material. M&S – similar. Sarongs are pretty but a total hassle to tie properly. Either I end up strangling myself (but looking nice) or appearing like my bed-sheet is still attached (and comfortable) This solves my problems.

Polka Dot bikini – Guy Laroche. Denim shorts – Zara. Striped Vest – Trenery. Pink shorts – Mango (JCrew similar). Green satchel – Jaspal. Hat – Rip Curl

Black bikini – Triumph. And the padding is BRILLIANT, although it absorbs about 6 litres of water…

Checkered over-shirt – M&S, similar in yellow

First Impressions

I had rather an important meeting today where there was a particular reason to make a good impression.

As I lay out several dresses on my bed this morning, from bright pink to polka dots and everything in-between, this simple classic stood out.

Often the best decisions are the most simple and clean-cut. No frills or fuss. No belts or layers. No need for Spanx. Just a simple, well-cut grey dress, comfy pumps and a pretty pashmina

Simple jewellery, nothing distracting. My simple diamond necklace, tennis bracelet, wedding ring and studs in my ears. I am on an island holiday from tomorrow, I promise to post, but my outfits will certainly be more casual

Celeb Inspiration

It has been a while since my last post, but never fear my darlings, my love for this space shall never wane. My husband/photographer has been out of town and therefore, most of my shots are decidedly unprofesh. So am sticking a lovely celeb post instead.

Feminine frocks for spring – so pretty. It’s a shame I look like an anemic budgie in yellow. It’s all about the skin tone.

Gwen because Gwen is, well, Gwen. Perfection. (although the bag is a bit of a duvet cover) Zoe looking amaze in this dusty pink number. Let’s not talk about what Kim K did to it’s reputation when she squeezed her bump around it a few weeks back (OK, let’s….what a shocker!!!)

Casual Kourtney. Love her heart ring and stripy cardie. And nothing says SPRING more than SJP with a giant pink flower pinned to her chest.
