Celeb FashSpiration

It’s been a while since I posted celebrity looks. I collect them but find it hard to get the time to edit /combine.

Kerry Washington in all her groomed, dusty pink perfection

Super feminine and floral. Jessica a bit more ‘rock’ with yellow leather and sunglasses

Street chic in black leather and white

Olivia P rocking sequins & a graphic print blazer. Add a swinging poney tail and you have a living fashion shoot. I just love this shocking pink dress that fits like a dream. Great length but I might lose the belt.

Celeb Inspiration

It has been a while since my last post, but never fear my darlings, my love for this space shall never wane. My husband/photographer has been out of town and therefore, most of my shots are decidedly unprofesh. So am sticking a lovely celeb post instead.

Feminine frocks for spring – so pretty. It’s a shame I look like an anemic budgie in yellow. It’s all about the skin tone.

Gwen because Gwen is, well, Gwen. Perfection. (although the bag is a bit of a duvet cover) Zoe looking amaze in this dusty pink number. Let’s not talk about what Kim K did to it’s reputation when she squeezed her bump around it a few weeks back (OK, let’s….what a shocker!!!)

Casual Kourtney. Love her heart ring and stripy cardie. And nothing says SPRING more than SJP with a giant pink flower pinned to her chest.

A little collection of my favourite looks. From city-chic and weekend sleek to va-voom glam & cocktail frocks

Cute comfy casual

Smart casual by Jessica and Charlize (the only person who pulls of baggy-crutch pants)

My utter favourite dress this year (and sunglasses)

Celebs in Black & White

Because I recently purchased a few key black and white items for this season, I have noticed celebs and bloggers doing the same. OK, so they are most likely not copying me (haha) but, seems we are on the same page. Here are my fave:

Naomi rocks this tailored look by layering her crisp white blazer over a slightly shorter skirt and adding a pop of black with her heels, while SJP contrasts her full black look with white heels

Gorgeous Kyrstal from blog This Time Tomorrow in her giant puff skirt with sleek black top and strappy heels. Emma Stone, looking cute by adding nude platforms and bold make-up to her odd (yet cool) layered top/skirt/dress (don’t like the necklace though!)

I love the nude/off white pocket trim/neckline/edge on Mrs Lineker’s dress. The heels are the right colour but a little vampy/clumpy for my liking.

Celeb Style

It is time for a celeb style inspiration post! I have been collecting pics from various events to inspire myself lately, and here are my top looks for Friday!

I love the print of the dress on the left. Simple, great cut and length. Kelly Rowland looks hot and not over-exposed for a change, in this pretty two-tone-high-waist frock that makes her legs look longer.

I am thinking of getting the pink dress made for my 5 year wedding anniversary vow renewal (if my planning comes off!!) Love the green lace on Miranda, so feminine and sexy. Alessandra looking Grecian & gorgeous in edgy sheer gold lace

Naomi looks like a mermaid in this smashing silver gown. I simply love the intricate neckline. Kerry looks chic and comfortable in her little black number which I want for a work dress. I especially love the capped sleeves.

And I just loved this cute one of Jen and Justin at the Oscars – such a pretty intimate moment and I love her huge diamond bracelets! Happy Friday all and thanks for following xxx

I have been home with flu and feeling very yucky and uninspired. I spent nearly an hour this morning trying on different jackets only to end up with a grey cardigan that lives on the back of my chair at work. So it is clearly better for all of us that I post inspirational stuff as opposed to me in a fashion-huff-stale-mate.

Beautiful light grey jackets – soft tailoring. Stunning.

Love this belted off-white short jacket – especially with black tights and up-do hair. Jessica Alba rocking as always.

Love this cute black collar on white jumper. And Dame H. M. is amazing with her pink hair and swirling dress.

I adore the cut and length of this green dress and the feminine floral print that Rachel Weitz wears like a second skin.

Rihanna – who is normally under-dressed and over-exposed, looking lovely and ladylike in red. Emma Stone, whom I honestly feel fades into the background like a white dinner candle, looking pretty and modern with this cool low-waist frock paneled (but no doubt disappearing again once she had to stand next to anyone else)

Feminine Fashspiration

Here are four of my fave looks for this week (sourced from my joy-inspiring mailonline IPad app) I love the feminine colours and silhouettes.

Today I am likely to hit 30,000 all time views since I launched last year. Thanks to everyone from their support so far x

If I were a celeb (it’s just a matter of time actually! hee hee) I would wear a dress like Emily Blunt on the red carpet. Feminine, beautifully fit & made in luxuriously heavy material…..*sigh* (although am not sure I would have the cut-out part, but she does rock it)

I had to add this pic of Vic Beck from her stunning Elle shoot (behind the scenes here). I LOVE her make-up, hair and styling. She knows how to work what she’s got.

I just finished reading Coco Chanel’s biography and am totally obsessed with her simple and chic style (and life story, did you know she was friends with Salvador Dali and Winston Churchill!?amaze balls) She was my Fashspiration for this shoot.

Wide-leg, low-rise white trousers – custom tailor (similar). Pink heels – Nine West Caress. Striped Vest – Trenery. Pearls & clutch – Accessorise – real deal here

I extended the look for a casual lunch with my husband but swapping the trousers for shorts and a green satchel bag. (Bag – Jaspal. Shorts – Zara similar) Nails OPI

Whenever I see this type of skirt it makes me think of Carrie Bradshaw in S&TC (especially the movie scene where she meets Aiden in Abu Dhabi in this wildly inappropriate yet fantastical outfit)

Atlantic Pacific did an awesome blog (a Fall Date) with unique styling of a puffy skirt and checkered shirt. Now it’s my turn for a summer version!

Skirt – A.C.B.D. (Thai designer) visit her beautiful site here. Top – Zara. Heels – Zara (old)

Snap-shot of ACBD clothing range…….how pretty is everything??!! I want it ALL!!!!!

Back to Brunette

After 6 months of having more fun as a blond, I have gone back to my roots, literally. What do you think?

Spending 3 luxurious hours in my local Toni & Guy allowed me some precious Vogue reading. I simply adore these two casual looks (Jen and Gerard Darel styling) Both are making me re-consider navy blue.

Also, how awesome is the new GHD hairdryer? I simply have to get myself one of these beauties (check out that nozzle!!) 2,100 watts, ionic technology and a 3 meter cable (don’t you just LOVE being able to waft around your bedroom!)

White top – Gap. Jeans – Zara 1979. Belt – Gap. IPhone case – Jaspal
