Dotty in Shanghai

This dress is a classic – I keep it fresh by mixing different colour belts and shoes. Almost feels like a new dress each Summer. Belted dress similar Bag – Kate Spade (old)

Peep toes – Zara (old) Belt – no idea, similar here

Summer Greens

Although this dress isn’t new, I am inspired by green today. Green for summer and freshly cut grass. Green for pistachio ice cream and crunchy apples. Green for leaves & Kermit the Frog. Happy Friday all 🙂

Green pocket dress, old, similar here

Pearl necklace, knotted for chic granny effect 😉 Accessorize Nails OPI (‘Mod about You’) Hair – Kerastase Nutritive

Dotty in Shanghai

We all know my mad fetish for polka dots. I cannot contain myself when there are dots around.

I added a pop of pale yellow with my shoes and pashmina

Although this belt came with the dress, I often mix it up by using a bright pink or red belt. Primary colours rock with black and white dots

Friday Classic

Every girl needs a classic grey, fitted, knee-length dress. It’s like the LBD staple of the work wardrobe

I like to add a pashmina of sorts – to break up the grey-ness. A cardigan looks fab too.

Dress – (old) Pashmina – local boutique. Heels – Nine West Caress. Necklace – Shanghai Tang – check their gorgeous range here

Two Tone

I just fell in love with this dress the minute I saw it. The two-tone colour palette, the fabric blend, the loose fit around the middle, the pockets…..

Dress – Quant (Shanghai designer) Shoes – Nine West Caress. Bag – Kate Spade

Yellow Mellow

I have always loved the idea of a yellow dress. Especially since the movie; ‘How To Lose a Guy in 10 Day’ where Kate Hudson rocks that silk canary yellow gown to the ball.

This is my neighbours doorway – beautiful don’t you think? I am going to copy her garden as they look so pretty

I love the pocket detail

Dress: Calvin Klein. Heels – Nine West.

Shanghai Designer

I discovered ‘Quant’ Boutique on my second day in Shanghai. Talk about a fashion-homing-pigeon! Their designs are classic and feminine, my kind of place!

This is outside our little lane house. Cool backdrop don’t you think?
