I have had these Mankind Flares for nearly 7 years. Even though my body shape has changed and these trusty strides are more faded and tattered, I love them even more. Like a good friend that never lets you down.

And here I am, working on my smile 🙂

Black Vest – H&M. Jacket – Zara. Jeans – 7ForAllMankind. Polka dot flats – Trenery. If you are tall, you can pull off this slightly looser high-waist fit, but if you are a shorty-pants, I recommend a tighter waist and thigh area to make sure you don’t look like you are walking in a denim sack.

Skinny Jeans & Boots

I had a really good day today because I got featured on ‘Style Blog of the week ‘on bestoftheweb Trez coolio wouldn’t you say?

Relaxed look today, didn’t feel like dressing up too much but have been inspired by all the winter fashion in the blogs I follow and feeling jealous it never gets cold here (except for in my office! air-con set to 18 degrees!)

For the first time I have paired my suede boots (Mango Touch) with skinny jeans (GStar). And you know what? I love it! It opens up a entire new sphere of jean-options. Am thinking of getting some tan ones…but I don’t want to look like Katie Holmes who appears to have turned into a homeless person (derelict chic?) lately and is constantly in her stained tan suede boots! Grey blazer – Zara. Grey V neck – similar at Mango. Polka dot shirt – Gap

My Feature 🙂

Hounds Tooth Blazer

A classic jacket like this is a wardrobe staple. It can be tossed over a pencil skirt and blouse, a cocktail dress, jeans, even shorts and heels. The more I wear this one, the better the shape. I love that this jacket is all business, but when I take it off the slouch off-the-shoulder top brings in some fun and cheekiness.

Jacket – Zara Collection (old) similar. Pink skirt – Zara. Grey T – Gap. Feather earrings – a gift. Diamante flats – Aldo

Spots and Stripes

It is raining again today and two seconds after this shoot my hair has increased in volume and curled on the left side. Horrific. Was thinking about keeping my GHD at work for these kind of emergencies. On a positive note it is still warm. Love Thailand for that.

Striped linen T – Zara similar. Skinny jeans – Zara similar. Grey Blazer – Zara similar. Pink ring – Swarovski. Suede loafers – Anne Klein. Orange clutch – Jaspal. Polka dot umbrella – local market. similar

Start with a Feather

I bought this gorgeous dipped feather necklace and spent most of last night thinking about the best ‘back drop’ for it. I figured this seasons bright orange/tangerine would be best.

Am really into simple, comfortable tops with classic blazers and great pieces of fun jewelry, but never too much all at once! That’s my motto with jewelry 🙂

Tangerine T – Mango $19.99

Fantasy Fabric Blazer

Love this cream double-pocket blazer that my friend is clearly rocking! So chic and Chanel-esque. The cute gold cuff buttons add a special modern twist on a classic, timeless design.

Shades of Grey

This morning I felt like gray and pink. I often wake up with a colour in mind, regardless of having previously planned my look the night before.

I love this grey jacket over the grey top. Initially it felt like it would be an overdose of grey but I think it rocks.
