Dotty in Shanghai

This dress is a classic – I keep it fresh by mixing different colour belts and shoes. Almost feels like a new dress each Summer. Belted dress similar Bag – Kate Spade (old)

I tried the same top with denim shorts – which I think looks super cute.

Monday Accessories

Happy Monday all! Hmmm maybe not that happy, especially as I barely had any time to shop this weekend because I was too busy lying on my couch watching ‘Breaking Bad

I did some home surfing though, and found a rather fabulous site called Frames by Warby Parker which has the most gorg glasses. I especially love the Ainsworth Walnut Tortoise ones which would work wonderfully with this outfit. Also love the bright Marshall Rum Cherry ones……want a different pair for every day of the week!

Jeans – Zara similar. Black Linen top – Zara. heart bracelet – Marc Jacobs. Other Bracelets – Kate Spade & local markets. Polka scarf – Mango. Heels – Nine West. Specs – Warby Parker. Belt – local market. Earrings – local market.

Nuts for Dots!

To counter-balance my recent obsession with stripes, I have decided to dedicate this blog post to huge, bold, delicious dots! I have also been preparing for a week in Bali, Indonesia, and have been testing out different combinations of stylish yet comfortable looks.

Am a huge fan of loose, pretty tops paired with short mini skirts for beach side vacations. And for work actually, just depends on the fabric and colour. Black mini for work, denim for holidays. The loose tops are versatile for both.

I added a pale yellow neck scarf today, because I have a super air-conditioned office and need to keep my neck warm.

Polka Dot Blouse – similar Mango $40

Yellow Neck scarf – Mango $25

Black mini zipper skirt – Promod, similar Zara $88

Hot Pink Bag – Kate Spade

Holiday Glam

I love going a bit over the top on holiday. Most people schlump around in shapeless floral, strapless dresses (oh so comfy! Especially when devouring a seafood platter for two) revealing sun burn and wet hair. Don’t get me wrong, I do it too, but occasionally I like to knock it out the park and cause a poolside stir.

I love this fitted blue polka dot dress. It has corset wires built into the front to keep it from flopping forward (and stops you having to constantly pull it up from the armpits) which works well if you don’t have big boobs to keep it in place. Also saves you having to wear a strapless bra because we all know how uncomfy those things are.

I took it up a notch with a nude cowboy hat and massive pink Chanel sunglasses.
