Jail Break

I had a long weekend thanks to a public holiday falling on a Monday – which meant….more shopping days of course!

For this post I am channeling Twiggy in her 1960’s prime. Bold print mini dresses, especially in black and white, are so reminiscent of that period.

I really love the gold button detail, semi-military-esque don’t you think? I actually squeezed this dress over my head before realising they are popper-buttons (and there is a side zip I totally ignored too -it’s a miracle I got it on!)

Stripes in Paradise

I was re-living my vacation pics (to prolong the happiness) when I realised I have a ‘stripe’ theme going on and thought this was worth a post because stripes are awesome.

This is one of my fave holiday dresses because it is cute and comfy. G2000 – similar here. Bag – TopShop – similar here. Diamante flats – Aldo.

Vest – H&M – old, similar here. Denim Shots – Zara. Cowboy Hat – Rip Curl.

A Shirt Over a Dress

Today I am flying to sunny Cape Town, South Africa! I promise to blog as often as I can, but will be back in full swing mid January. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!! And thanks for following my blog, I just passed 25,000 views since I started, which was my target by year end xxx Whooppeeeee

Black and White and Red all over!

Question: What’s black and white and read all over?

Answer: a newspaper!………… and me in this post 🙂

Am quite into dresses and jackets this week, but I do love the way a simple blazer can change an entire look. I have worn this stripy little number to the beach with flip-flops and a straw hat, but today it’s all heels and hair.

Grey Blazer & Mini

This look was first inspired by Kristen Wiig  in ‘Bridesmaids’ – did you notice all her adorable mini dresses teemed with cool blazers? I found this awesome site called ‘Budget Babe‘ with an entire section dedicated to her blazer fashion. Strangely I hadn’t really considered this delightful combo before and it has changed my wardrobe range massively.

Park Avenue Princess

I am in Singapore at the moment, and guess what? So is Kate Middleton!!! How fabulous is that? Anyway, back to my blog (Kate Kate Kate…who wore a Singaporean designer dress) This gorgeous jacket from Jaspal (only available in Thailand and Malaysia) is so lovely and chic (like Kate), with a dress, pencil skirt or even jeans. And I adore their packaging and cute free IPhone case gift to celebrate four decades. Don’t you just love cute freebies and awesome packaging? and Kate?
